This Giving Tuesday, we're asking for your donation to help build a stronger movement for social, economic, education and environmental justice in Arkansas. You can double or even triple your impact between now and the end of the year. Your one-time gifts will be doubled — so your $50 donation will become $100. And if you make a new monthly pledge, your total 2023 pledge will be tripled — so a $10 monthly donation will become $30 for every month of 2023.
This past election we defeated Issue 2 by knocking on over 30,000 doors to talk to voters, texting over 175,000 voters and phone banking several hundred thousand more. And we showed that we can win when Arkansas voters are informed and engaged. With this success, we have laid out a plan for the next 10 years. We plan to expand this model mobilization to pass ballot measures on things like improving ethics laws and addressing the economic challenges that keep many of our communities in poverty. We’re also going to keep registering, informing and mobilizing voters. And we are going to keep developing people to run for office — from city council to school board and someday, the state legislature.
We have a 10-year plan because it’s going to take steady, strategic and hard work. We didn’t get here overnight and it’s going to take a sustained strategy to create change.
